In order for Bongo to be able to affect the resolution in the Flamingo image, you have to set the Flamingo render resolution setting to “Image Size”. You’ve set the Output resolution in Bongo to be HD (1920x1080), but the rendered image is another size.
The resolution set in Bongo doesn’t affect the rendering After changing the mapping -setting, the texture follows the object. Change it from Default to the shape that suites the object best. To make Flamingo keep the texture in place you need to change the Mapping for the object(s) in the Object Properties tab. When you move or rotate the object, the object moves/rotates but the texture doesn’t. You start off by rendering and the texture looks correct. Unfortunately at the moment the Flamingo nXt library doesn’t support it.īut Flamingo nXt supports Rhino Basic Materials, so if you make a Basic Material in Rhino and animate it, Flamingo nXt should be able to render the animated material. In Tools->Options->Rhino Options->Flamingo nXt.īongo can animate the material properties in Rhino, so if the renderer supports the Render Development Kit (RDK), Bongo will be able to animate the material properties. If you’re still not able to get the rendering to run or it stops after the first frame you need to enable the setting Allow modeling while rendering. Otherwise your rendering will never stop and move on to the next one. Rendering Settingsīefore you start the rendering, please make sure you’ve set the constraints on the rendering, either by restricting the time or the passes. However Flamingo nxt 5 does support the RDK, so if you want to animate those features, please get Flamingo 5. For example material change, Video Textures doesn’t work, because it requires RDK support (the renderer features in Rhino). Supported featuresįlamingo nxt doesn’t support all features in Bongo. Required to set up a model for rendering. When using Flamingo nXt as the target renderer, there’s a few things you may want to keep in mind. Provide the highest possible quality images with the minimalįlamingo nXt is also designed to minimize the time and effort This third majorįlamingo release is based on completely new technology. Works in a low priority worker thread and updates when the referenced view is idle.įlamingo nXt was released on 31-March-2012. The RT window is constantly rendering as the model updates.
